John 16:8-11(NASB) “And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.”

1. The Holy Spirit convicts the unbeliever of:

• Sin

• Righteousness

• Judgment

2. When the unbeliever receives Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, The Holy Spirit will:

cleanse and regenerate

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the Ningdom of God.” John 3:5

“He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,” Titus 3:5

3. As believers, we are called to:

• Share the Gospel

“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?” Rom 10:14

“and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,” 1 Cor. 2:4

• Pray for the Unbelievers

“And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 Cor. 4:3-4
