Kiang Tzy Peng

Our brother, Tzy Peng is a deacon with our church. He is a member of the WATCH Committee, serves as a worship leader at the 8am service and leads a cell group which meets every Friday.

Tzy Peng came to know Christ while he was a student at NUS – at the same campus hostel where he met his girlfriend who later became his wife.

Mei Ling and Tzy Peng have 2 kids who are both in their early 20s – Wen Wei and Wen Jen.

At the start of his Christian journey, he worshipped at Trinity Christian Centre in the mid 1980s, then moved to Mt Carmel BP Church with Mei Ling where they were baptised. A year later, they left Mt Carmel together with two cell groups, to start an outreach at Lengkok Baru, called Horeb BP Missions. And then, in year 2000 they joined BFEC.

Tzy Peng regards Faith, Family and Friends as the 3 Fs in his life which means most to him – in that order of importance. Faith first, then Family and Friends. BFEC is family.

Faith has found a new lease in his life following his diagnosis and subsequent treatment of stomach cancer last year. He has since returned to work at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (previously known as UniSIM).
