Church Library
The Church Library is an important resource centre, making a variety of Christian materials available to members. Opening hours are on Sundays, 9.45 - 11.45 am. To be a member of the Library, you simply need to pay $1(one time fee). This will entitle you to borrow 2 books or tapes for up to 2 weeks.
Our modest collection of books covers a wide range of subjects including: Doctrinal Theology; Old and New Testament Commentaries; Prayer; Discipleship; Apologetics; Stewardship; Education; Family Life; Women; and Friendship; etc. We cater to both the younger and older members of the Church. The Audio-Tape collection features songs for children, female and male vocalists, worship and musicals etc. The Library also has a CD collection, from which a member who pays a non-refundable deposit of $20 can enjoy a wide range of good Christian music. For evangelistic purposes, we also loan Jesus video tapes to Church members. These tapes are in English, Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese and Teochew.
As a resource centre for the BCG, we also have in our collection Bible study materials. These range from book studies, topical studies and character studies, to DVDs—all available for group viewing and discussion.

Senior Sunday School
The Senior Sunday School’s (SSS) main objective is to provide Christian Education to young people between 13 and 19 years of age. It also aims to foster an environment in which Christian values are not just taught but modelled. It organises activities in which students can express their youthful energies in a wholesome manner.
Weekly Sunday School classes are held from 11.30 am to 1.15 pm in the Chapel. Typically, each teacher teaches one class, though some are assisted by co-teachers who share the workload. Other than Sunday class times, teachers spend informal, unstructured and personal time with their students by having occasional outings with them or by visiting their homes. A committee of teachers headed by a Superintendent oversees the administration of this ministry.
The students are grouped generally by age into classes of 5 to 10 people. A Student Committee represents the student populace, and it consists of three sub-committees: Fellowship, Worship and Infogram. The weekly Bible lessons are preceded by a time of corporate worship. Apart from the regular Sunday meetings, social activities like: interesting telematches, ball games, mini-camps, Annual Camps and other seasonal activities, musician training, and other wholesome Christian youth activities are also organisd. The Infogram is the SSS newsletter produced by the Student Committee, serves not only as a channel of communication but also provides good literary experience for interested students.
The Student Committee plays a major role in the SSS in creating a stimulating and colourful environment for SSS students. Leadership and discipleship principles are practised by leaving the students to run the weekly and other programmes of the SSS under the general supervision of the teachers.

Young Adults
The Young Adults Group was formed to meet the needs of young adults in a more structured approach and to train and build them up to serve. Started in January 2001 for the outgoing Senior Sunday School students, the Young Adults Group is open to all young people from 19 years of age onwards who are either in national service, polytechnic, university or working.
The Young Adults Group has the following focus-meet the specific needs and issues affecting this group of young people in our church today; and inculcate an attitude of service among the young and address the training and leadership needs of the church. Our motto is - Rooted in the Word to teach and serve others.
Weekly meetings are held every Sunday from 12.30 pm to 2 pm at the chapel. The programme includes worship (rostered among the young people), a speaker or group discussion covering Biblical teaching and beliefs, lifestyle and contemporary issues and other relevant topics. YAG members are formed into groups of about 8 to 10 with a guy and a girl leader for each group under the guidance of a mentor. Opportunities are given to members to share and learn new insights and the relevance of God in their daily lives.
Outside the formal meeting session on Sunday, the members interact and bond with each other through various activities. These include barbecue, cycling, bowling, other out-door, social and outreach activities.
While a committee of mentors and young leaders oversees the administration of the Young Adults Group, members are encouraged to lead in worship, share a testimony, lead and contribute towards group discussions, and organise various social activities. Our prayer is that they will all be grounded in God's word so that they will have a strong foundation in the years ahead.

Ladies Group
Meeting every Tuesday evening from 8—9.30 pm at the Church Annexe, these
ladies have dedicated themselves to be strongly rooted in the Word, by obeying
our Lord's commands through their service of Christian love and comfort.
All ladies regardless of age or marital status are richly encouraged to join
this ministry. The programme starts with singing songs of praise followed by prayers. The Word of God is then delivered by a missionary or a speaker from the Church or a Christian organisation. A cooking demonstration or "sharing of talents" session is usually planned for the first Tuesday of the month. Besides the regular meetings in church, there are outings to various places.
As and when the opportunities for service, and where the special feminine touch
would make the wholesome difference in expressing God's wonderful grace and creativity, our ladies would be there to give it.

Working Adults Group
This Working Adults Group (WAG) comprises a core group of about 30 members who meet regularly on a monthly basis. With the introduction of the BCG in our Church, the WAG has dedicated itself to serve a supporting social action function: providing opportunities for Christian witness among our colleagues in our work places. At the same time it also serves as a small fellowship group for members who find difficulty meeting in a BCG. In this way, they may have the opportunity to interact socially and spiritually, and to encourage one another in their Christian faith through messages given by our speakers.
The WAG meets on the last Saturday of every month at a designated member's home, for fellowship and a message from God's Word. Special evangelistic meetings are also organised from time to time for the benefit of our non-Christian friends and relatives. Apart from monthly meetings at homes, we have social outings which include overnight camping and trips to Malaysia. Updates on our activities are published in the weekly Church bulletin.

9214 Senior Citizens Programme
This ministry is the Church Programme for the Elderly.
The name of this ministry is inspired by Psalm 92:14, its "operational formula" derives from Jeremiah 17:7-8. The group's founding chairman, the late Elder Fred Sabapathy, has set for its members a personal example and challenge to promote the physical and spiritual health of the elderly members in the congregation and to encourage growth in dependency on our Lord rather then on man; striving not only to be less of a burden to others but to be more of blessing by their continuing fruitfulness in the Lord.
Notwithstanding its name and objectives, there is no minimum age requirement for joining the 9214 group, which meets every Sunday from 10-10.30am in Church. This time is mainly for reflection and sharing of insights gained from the Lord's message delivered during the first worship service. Every Monday from 7.30 - 8.30am, a doctor/nurse will be on duty to check blood pressure, take pulse rate and answer questions on elderly health issues, prior to a session of group callisthenics-cum-aerobics.
In celebration of the wonderful and abundant life which we enjoy in Christ, we hold joint birthday celebrations on the first week of every month and have coffee camaraderie on the first Monday of every month. Visiting places of spiritual or cultural interest, excursions to public parks in Singapore and across the causeway, conducting home visits and intercessory prayer, and attending specific health talks are some of our other activities.

Peranakan Ministry
We praise God for His blessings on the Peranakan Ministry. This ministry, which used to minister to a much larger pool of Peranakan-speaking Chinese in the Katong/Siglap area, was revived from 1993.
The Peranakan Ministry meets fortnightly on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at 4 pm. Although the present regular attenders are mainly some of the more elderly Malay-speaking members, we are much encouraged by the enthusiasm of the young and old members of the committee who are serving faithfully, awaiting the Lord's time and leading to expand this ministry with its exciting possibilities.
In June 1995, a monthly Lord's Supper and ministry of the Word service was begun on the fourth Saturday of each month. We praise the Lord for the times of spiritual refreshment and the fervour of the believers.

International Fellowship
With several thousand foreign workers in Singapore, and scores of them within our immediate circles of members and friends, we have heard the Lord's call to reach out to these workers with the Word and love of God. This ministry concentrates mainly on the domestic helpers of our members. Every Sunday, they gather for their own worship meeting, followed by Bible studies. These are conducted by designated church leaders and visiting missionaries. A Communion Service is conducted every first and fifth Sunday of the month.
Please feel free to join us, 10 to 11.15 am at Classroom A1 (first storey).
