The prophecy of Isaiah addressed sinful Judah, who had forsaken the Lord & thus suffered God’s judgment in their conquest and exile by the Babylonians. Continuing from Isa 50 – 55, the faithful and compassionate God further reveals how through the Servant of the Lord, he will save both the remnant of Israel and the nations of the world from their sin and unrighteousness. God continues to speak today through Isaiah’s message. He is calling on everyone to trust and hope in Him for the salvation accomplished by the Servant, and to be ready to depart in the new exodus. Will we listen?
