“Our greatest fear should not be of failure, but of succeeding at something that doesn’t really matter.”attributed to D.L.Moody
“Nothing matters but the kingdom, but because of the kingdom everything matters.”Gordon Spykman, Reformation Theology.
Do you find it increasingly difficult to follow Jesus faithfully in this modern world? With cares and concerns on every front, distractions abounding from social media and other challenges arising in our homes, workplaces, societies and relationships due to the recent pandemic and a hyper-connected world, what exactly does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus and “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33)?
This 6-part church-wide journey aims to explore this teaching and encouragement from Jesus to “seek first” His Kingdom and His righteousness, by purposefully and practically examining what the Kingdom of God and His righteousness mean, how this changes the way we live it out in the various arenas of our lives, while honestly considering the real challenges that all of us face today.
