“…and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” Revelation 7:9
This is a home away from home. At International Fellowship Ministry, both Indonesian and Filipina domestic helpers come together to worship and rest for the Sabbath. We conduct bi-weekly Bible Studies and invite guest speakers to share once a month. As bonding is vital in any fellowship, we bond through games, outings, and most of all through serving at our church’s Cafe LEAF. We believe in the body of Christ, thus we participate in all major church activities. Our goal is to nurture every domestic helper that comes to the Fellowship to be Christ-centered. Do take the step of faith and encourage your domestic helper to be a part of International Fellowship. We meet on Sundays at 10.15am to 11.45am at the 3rd floor.
The ministry to Peranakan-speaking Chinese in the Katong and Siglap area, was revived in 1993. We meet at 4.00pm on every 2nd and 4th Saturday for the Lord’s Supper and the ministry of Word in Malay. We try to organise an outing or a special event if there is a 5th Saturday. Although the present regular attendees are mainly senior members, we are much encouraged by the enthusiasm of the younger members of the committee who are serving faithfully.
The Foreign Indian Workers ministry in our church was launched in 2009. We meet every Saturday from 9.00pm to 10.30pm with an attendance of 10 to 15 Tamil-speaking migrant workers from worker dormitories in the eastern region. We have an experienced retired English teacher to conduct English lessons for them using Bible stories. A group of volunteers also assists in the distribution of meals for them before the lesson.
