2,000 years ago, God sent his son on a mission for the redemption of
mankind. Jesus fulfilled it and commissioned his disciples to go into all
the earth and bear the fruit of people who love God. Today, the continuing missions given by Jesus is in its crucial phase because he said that
the gospel must be preached to all the world before the end comes.
(Matthew 24:14)
Every single child of God has an important part to play in fulfilling
Revelations 7:9 to usher in every peoples, languages, nations and tribe
(PLaNT) to an eternity of bliss and joy in God’s presence. Let us not
waver in His mission, locally as well as cross-culturally.
This month, we share with you various missions work concerning Unreached Peoples’ Groups you can pray for and be active in through the
theme, “Here I am Lord, go where, ah?”
PLaNT East Asia: Every major city in East Asia sees a diaspora of
domestic ethnic workers and it is a choice to live and minister among
them away from the comforts of home. If 5% of the estimated 20,000
or more Singaporeans who live and work in East Asia are sent by the
Church, we would have 1,000 kingdom-minded labourers there. Will
you be one of them?
PLaNT Japan: Working cr oss-culturally overseas involves a season
of preparation – emotionally, spiritually and physically. It requires
learning a different language, adapting to a new culture and befriending
to share the gospel. It is more challenging if you have a young family
but when God calls, how do you respond?
PLaNT Bangladesh: Millions of Bangladeshis make huge sacrifices
and leave their country searching for a better material future for themselves. But what about their eternal future? Are they prepared for it? Is
there something the Lord wants us to do to help Bangladeshis with
their eternity?
PLaNT Kala: The gospel must be declared to the whole world before the end can come. So we must be involved in missions, one way or
another. It can be missions at our doorstep or somewhere obscure like
Kala. How do you know where God wants you to serve? If you knew,
are you willing to go?
