Andrew had the benefit of Christian parents and was sent to Bethesda Katong Church Sunday School at a young age and accepted Christ as His Lord and Saviour while in Primary Six.
He is a founding member of Bartley Christian Church that planted Riverlife Church, a 3000-member church in Pasir Ris, and is one of the founding Elders of that church.
Andrew is also a leading motivational speaker, coach and training consultant, and is an adjunct lecturer of Management at NTU. He earned his PhD from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in HR Personnel Selection in 1999.
Andrew is the honorary editor in Impact magazine, which is Singapore’s only trans-denominational magazine. He has been in Christian publishing for more than 40 years. Among his 7 books is one written when he was “Scholar-in-Residence” at the Haggai Institute at Maui, Hawaii, USA – “How to pass the Torch without getting Burned”, on leadership succession.
They are parents of Su-Yen, a medical specialist who is married to Rabind and they have a son, Jaden.
