“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12
Grow@Noon is the youth ministry of BFEC for teenagers between 13 to 19 years old. We meet every Sunday from 11.45am to 1.30pm for a time of prayer, worshipping in song and to learn more about God and the Bible together. We also build our relationships with one another through various informal activities in the afternoon such as Captain’s Ball, Basketball, as well as card and board games. We also have various activities on weekends and during holidays, including camps, bible studies, outings, social service/outreach and other evangelistic and pre-evangelistic events. Grow@Noon seeks to lead youths to the person of Jesus Christ and help them grow in love into a deepening relationship with God and each other.
Young adults aged 19 to 29 meet regularly once a week in small groups to share their experiences and learn from the Word of God. Besides having a network of friends who are going through similar phases of life, they take the opportunity to discuss and learn about issues pertinent and relevant to their age group (e.g. finding a job, managing finances, dating and marriage, etc.) during their weekly sessions and also in a ministry gathering once in two months. Their vision is to see young men and women living Christ-centered lives. They also focus on the elements of integration into the wider church community, relevance in teaching and studying the Word of God and inculcating a lifestyle of discipleship.
